DMCA & Copyright Compliance

BlueReads respects the intellectual property rights of others. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") and other applicable laws, we have adopted a policy of addressing claims of copyright infringement expeditiously.

1. Non-Hosting & Indexing Policy

Please be informed that BlueReads does not store, host, mirror, or upload any files (such as e-books, PDFs, or audio files) on its servers or cloud networks. Our application functions purely as a library organizer, search index, and metadata aggregator. We only link to external sites, catalogs, and file repositories that are publicly hosted elsewhere on the internet.

Since we do not host this content, we cannot delete files directly from third-party hosting servers. Removing a link on BlueReads will only remove the redirect from our site, while the original file remains active on its original host.

2. Filing a Copyright Infringement Notice

If you are a copyright owner or an authorized agent and believe that content indexed on BlueReads infringes upon your copyright, you may submit a formal notification under the DMCA. To be processed, your notice must be in writing and include the following:

1. A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple copyrighted works at a single online site are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works.
3. Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity and that is to be removed or access to which is to be disabled, including the exact URL(s) on BlueReads where the link appears.
4. Information reasonably sufficient to permit BlueReads to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, and, if available, an electronic mail address.
5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
6. A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

3. Submission Method

Please send all infringement notifications and copyright inquiries directly via our external support links or email us. Upon receipt of a valid and fully compliant notice, we will investigate and take immediate action, which typically includes the removal of the link or reference from our index within 24–48 hours.

4. Counter-Notification Procedures

If you believe that your content or link was mistakenly removed, you can submit a counter-notice containing the standard legal information required by the DMCA. BlueReads will review and process counter-notifications in compliance with the guidelines specified under Section 512 of the DMCA.
