Marriage, Interrupted: A Year of Practice

What happens when your marriage becomes an experiment?

Rachel checks her watch for the fourth time. She is trapped on a child-sized bench in a south-west London sports hall; no coffee, twenty-five sugar-fuelled children, and nearly two hours to go.
Then Jo sits down beside her and time stops.

Rachel and Tomer have spent twelve years building a life together: a marriage, a son, a flat in Battersea, and all the small routines that make a family. From the outside, it looks exactly like the life they planned.
But beneath the routines of family life, Rachel feels herself going numb. When Jo enters her world, the life Rachel and Tomer have been building no longer feels quite so certain.

Told in alternating voices, A Marriage, Interrupted follows a couple as they attempt to reinvent their marriage without losing each other, and discover that even the most honest choices can leave someone heartbroken.
