Dissolution (To Crack a Geode)

Rookie supervillain Starshade loves her job.

Every day, in her own small way, the disaster queer cottontail gets to strike out against the corrupt and powerful. That is, until a minor heist turns deadly serious, and she’s cornered by a storied stalwart of the state superhero organization — the prestigious Texas Protectorate Assembly.

Veteran Hero Slate has sacrificed everything for his job.

The draft horse has devoted his life to serving his country, selflessly upholding the law and protecting the innocent. That is, until he’s forced to choose between those two duties — and his entire world is upended.

As a crisis threatens to tear apart the state of Texas, the unlikely pair are forced to band together for survival. Desperation, mistrust, and betrayal threaten at every turn. Can Starshade survive the TPA’s brutal, twisted machinations? Can Slate navigate between being a Hero, and doing what’s right?

Can either survive the thrilling first issue of: To Crack A Geode?
