Rushworth Country - Tilly (Rushworth Country #1)

Tilly Ferguson gave up on her dreams the day her mum passed away. Now, she’s determined to keep her family’s tiny Rushworth petrol station alive, even as whispers spread of a shiny, big franchise set to roll into town. Losing the station would mean losing the last memory of her mum, and Tilly refuses to let that happen.

Nate Hunter arrives in Rushworth with shorts so crisp they practically have their own post code, and one goal: prove he’s ready to take over the family company. But the town’s loyalty to Tilly is fierce, and her grit is unlike anything he’s faced, even from his grandfather. Between her stubborn determination that he finds incredibly attractive, the community’s unwavering support, and Kevin—the resident emu with a talent for trouble—Nate’s plans may not happen how he planned.

As Tilly begins to wonder whether the man she’s supposed to hate might be the one who sees her dreams more clearly than she does, Nate must decide where his future should be, and if the woman who makes him question everything, is worth taking the risk on.

A warm, spirited rural story of legacy, loyalty, and the unexpected places to find home.
