Murder in the Park (Ellie Quicke #9)

Ellie’s pottering in the garden when she gets the call. ‘Can you come, Ellie? Please! I think she’s dead!’

It’s her cousin, ringing from the park — where she just witnessed something terrible. An innocent woman, mauled to death by a killer dog. Now it’s up to Ellie to sniff out the four-legged culprit and his thuggish owner.

And that’s not all. Back at home, Great-Aunt Drusilla is fading fast. The woman has more lives than your average cat.

But Ellie fears her luck’s about to run out. Especially when Drusilla’s elegant townhouse goes up in flames.

The police say there’s only one person who had motive and opportunity to start the fire — Ellie herself!

Can she unmask the true fire-starter before dear Aunt D. shuffles off her mortal coil?

The clock is ticking for Ellie to clear her name. Before everything goes to the dogs!
