Last Reminder (Charlie Priest #4)

Priest’s day isn’t off to a great start. He’s late for the first time in twenty years and more than a little hungover. It’s about to get a lot worse.

The body of fifty-year-old financial advisor Hartley Goodrich is found slumped in his rocking chair — an inch-long gaping gash on his head. The plant pot used to inflict the deadly blow lies beside him.

The money-obsessed businessman went bankrupt six months ago. His poor financial advice lost his furious clients a small fortune. So the list of potential suspects is longer than an unexpected tax audit.

It looks like this advisor’s luck ran out. This was his final reminder.

Did one of his clients seek revenge, or is there something more sinister at play?
