Among the Twisted Roots

Terran goes through his day-to-day life following the same routine; wake up in darkness, work alongside his work crew in darkness, eat in darkness, and suppress any memory of what happened to his mother five years ago.

But when whispers of strange sightings and forbidden encounters ripple through the tunnels, everything Terran thought he knew begins to shift.

A sudden assembly, unexpected guards, and the shocking declaration of an Upperworlder’s presence threaten to unravel the fragile order of their hidden society.

Caught between curiosity and fear, Terran must navigate loyalty, survival, and the dangerous possibility of a world beyond the earth he calls home.
