The Halingsford Murders

To the world, William and Vivien Halingsford lived the perfect life. They were a rich, successful, and gorgeous couple, with six children to prove their love for one another. But beyond the pretense they portrayed to the public were secrets and lies. The most dangerous they even kept from each other.

Now, on the five-year anniversary of their daughter’s unsolved murder, Vivien is shot dead at her husband’s birthday party. William, her potential killer, is found dead of a heart attack by her side. Two hundred and fifty guests witness nothing. Are the murders connected? What do the couple’s estranged children know?

The Halingsford children severed all contact with their parents five years earlier. They are adults now, who have made their own lives, and have their own burdens. They return to the house for closure, and to assist the police in their investigation, unknowingly putting their lives in danger.

As police begin to look to them as suspects, the estranged Halingsford family must work together, not only to find out the truth, but to survive. Trapped in the house they sought to escape, they will face murder, suicide, and their mother’s killer. But their own personal demons may be the most dangerous of all.
