Hiding Behind Robes

Lt Det. Philip Samyn and his sidekicks are summoned by the acting bishop of the Catholic Diocese to investigate some strange occurrences in the church crypt. Normally, Samyn wouldn't want to be inside a church, especially in an underground crypt. Today, being in a crypt beat being in his boss's office fighting for the future of his team.

Nothing appears to be disturbed, and Samyn thinks it's been a waste of time to come. He changes his mind when they find the tomb of the former bishop was opened and his ring is missing.

Samyn agrees to investigate because he sees it as a way to get revenge on a place that scarred him in the past. While uncovering events in the former bishop's life, Samyn must confront his own demons. When one of his team is attacked, he's ready to bring down the cathedral.

No one on his team knew that abuse in Ireland more than twenty years ago laid was the beginning of the end for the former bishop. Nor did they know the effects the case would have on their lives. One thing they agreed on was this: you never know who's Hiding Behind Robes.
