Irresistible Forces (Sisters in Arms, #2)

True love never fades...but can it forgive?

Air Force Captain Samantha Hall has never forgotten her first love, or that she turned down his marriage proposal to stay in college and finish her degree. Now a renowned missile defense systems expert, Sam is considering marriage again. Before she can decide, the aircraft transporting her to a NATO conference crashes in the former Soviet state of Belarus—catapulting Sam back into her first lover's arms.

Major Griff Towers has spent years trying to forget Sam and years praying their paths never crossed again, lest he be forced to explain why he didn't wait for her. Griff survives their reunion in the mountains of Belarus with his secret and heart intact, only to have both revealed after he's transferred to the same airbase that hosts Sam's lab.

But danger follows, too, as Griff discovers Sam's crash was no accident. As Sam deals with the fallout from Griff's secrets, Griff strives to flush out the traitor in their midst before the woman he loves is torn from his life once again. This time forever.

Meet the Sisters in Arms: They met in college. By graduation, they were inseparable. No matter where the military sends them, each knows she had a core of friendship and support on which to draw if she ever has cause. But fate's about to test them all, and each woman will soon need her Sisters in Arms.

Irresistible Forces is the third book in the Sisters in Arms romantic suspense series.
