Maxim's Promise (The Commission #1)

An alternative cover edition for this ASIN can be found here.

What do you do when your father barters you off and makes you sign a blood oath?

Plot their demise and take over their empires, of course.

It’s taken decades, but we’ve done it. Of course, the matter of that blood oath still sits heavily between us.

A promise is a promise. I won’t have it said that I don’t keep my word, even if I was only twelve when my thumb was forced onto that piece of paper. So, I agree to go first in our circle of friends.

The agreement is to marry into each other’s families, which will solidify protection, stability, and alliances. This is a good thing.

My new fiancée, Cora O’Kelly, doesn’t agree.

She’s feisty, but she will be a spectacular queen for my Bratva.

She has a few faults. The biggest one is that she has a weakness for kittens.

I can handle shootouts and rival factions. I can even handle the zombie movies she loves—but kittens? That is pushing it.

No cheating. HEAs. All books are part of the interconnected worlds that Haven creates. Expect to see all characters more than once. While these can be read as standalone novels, they are best read sequentially.
