Bellini's Mimosa (Colors of Happiness, #1)

Mimi swallowed away a trickle of tears as she followed the stream of travelers into the train station. “Jake…Jacob…Giacomo,” she quietly repeated how he introduced himself. As if in answer, the bells of San Simeone chimed the full hour—and the end of her Italian adventure.

A chance encounter, an unforgettable kiss at the Vaporetto—and all he had was her first name. “Mimi. Or Emily. Only Emily.” How was he supposed to find her?

Six months in Italy was precisely what Mimi Albizia needed to move on from an incident that cracked her trust in men. Just as she is ready to resume her old life in Boston, charming—and very sexy—Jake Bellini swoops into her life and proves that not all men are jerks. But with their lives thousands of miles apart, a relationship is impossible. If only she could stop thinking about him…

Jake Bellini refuses to accept his appointed role at his father’s hotel on Martha’s Vineyard. He prefers to follow his passion for winemaking at his uncle’s Tuscan vineyard and keeps romances light. Until a brief encounter with an intriguing woman makes him question his definition of la dolce vita. But when he reaches out to her, Mimi has vanished.

As Mimi faces her past and Jake questions his future, another surprise reunion ignites new passions. Can Mimi trust her heart, and will an undeniable chemistry be enough to bring Jake home?
