Fated to the Enemy's Daughter (Alpha Dragons' Fated Mates Book 1)

MAGNUS AND JADE
ENEMIES BY BLOOD, ALLIES BY NECESSITY, LOVERS BY FATE.

Jade feels uneasy when a handsome, dark-haired man named Magnus watches her at the bar and then follows her on her way home. She has the power to defeat him in an instant, but she’s bound by the rules. She can't reveal her true identity to humans.
Things get even more complicated when she discovers that Magnus is the son of her father's worst enemy.

The Cynical Dragon

I didn’t like him watching me—a stalker for sure. Still, as good-looking as a GQ model, he caught my interest. That was until he captured me and took me prisoner. I found out he’s our worst enemy's son. His father hated my dad.

His dark eyes held a depth that drew me in, despite knowing who he was. Even as I tried to hate him, the way he looked at me with a mix of intensity and vulnerability made my heart race. Every time he spoke, his voice sent shivers down my spine, betraying my resolve to keep him at a distance. The warmth of his touch lingered long after he let go, leaving me craving more.

No matter how much I was attracted to him, I had to find a way to get out. Finally, I managed to escape and was on the run from the dragon goons. But before I could safeguard myself fully, Magnus found me.

He, who had just kidnapped me, swore to help me, but how could I trust him? Despite my better judgment, the way his smile reached his eyes made me want to trust him. His presence was magnetic, pulling me towards him even when I knew I should push him away. He had a plan for a safe house, but it didn't seem safe at all.

Can we survive, or is the worst yet to come? Will Magnus take me back to his father? And how am I going to protect myself from falling in love?
