I don't believe in love

Ana never believed in fairy tales. At 35, she’s fiercely independent and has shaped her life around her career, keeping people at a distance. After being hurt, trusting others doesn't come easy, and Ana prefers it that way—alone, focused, and with only her animals for company.

Then he appears—younger, persistent, and, to her surprise, genuinely kind. He starts to chip away at the barriers she’s spent years building, making her face emotions she’s tried to bury. He’s not a threat because of what he wants—he’s a threat because of what he makes her want.
