A Sweet Arrangement
Overview
Evelyn "Evie" Hartwell owns a small bakery in a rural town outside of the city. Orphaned and raised from a young age by her French-American grandmother, she found joy in the simple things in life - baking, her cat, and minimal technology. She is a hopeless romantic and wants to find true love and her happily ever after. Could she find it in the good looking business man that comes into her bakery every Saturday?
Alexander "Alex" Knight is the CEO of a multibillion dollar company, PetroVista. Constantly being reminded by his abusive father, Alex has no interest in taking a wife. Alex enjoys morning runs with his three German Shepherds, shutting his father down, and those sweet macarons from that little bakery outside of town.
One fateful Saturday, a horrible accident causes their lives to be changed forever. A tyrant father takes advantage of what started as an innocent crush, leaving devastation in his wake. A new identity, a lifetime of trauma, and a longing for what could have been plagues Evie and Alex for five years. Will they get a happily ever after out of their Sweet Arrangement, or does their past leave nothing but a sour taste?
