Snowed in with the Dad Bod

Angelica’s my best friend’s daughter, and that’s how it’s supposed to stay.

After my latest relationship fell apart, I’ve been living at their empty lakeside cabin, trying to rebuild my life. I never expected to return from the store to find Angelica here—taking a shower.

She’s not the little girl I remember. She’s a woman with curves that are hard to ignore. Now snowed in and cut off from the world, we’re forced to share the cabin—and the heat between us is impossible to escape.

As we huddle by the fire, I can’t deny how perfectly she fits in my arms. She thinks I’m just a big teddy bear, but with each touch, the beast in me is stirring.

I’m supposed to protect her, be the man her father trusts. Angelica deserves more than a broken man twice her age, but as the snow keeps falling, so do my defenses. And if I give in to what we both want, there’ll be no going back.

Because once I claim my best friend’s daughter, she’s mine—for good.
