A Disguised Duke for Christmas

As Christmas festivities draw near, recently orphaned Lady Isabella Beresford is faced with a terrible dilemma. As her guardian uncle tries to get rid of her, she is not only threatened to lose her home, but also marry a dissolute rake of his choosing - unless she finds true love before Christmas. When she falls into the arms of a stranger, amidst a bustling market, little does she know that this chanceful encounter will change her life forever.

Will she only use their acquaintance to subvert her uncle's scheme or could true love have the face of this enigmatic stranger?

Dante Carrington, the Duke of Devonshire, is much more than his title suggests. Tired of being chased after the ladies of the ton for all the wrong reasons, he decides to disguise his identity and escape to the North to visit an old friend. Just as he questions if pure love can truly exist, Dante bumps into an ethereal, kind-hearted beauty, in a local market, whose gentle smile stirs his heart in ways that he never thought possible.

Could Lady Isabella be everything he has ever dreamt of or will she prove to be yet another disappointment?

With Christmas Day fast approaching, the two of them agree to a courtship that will save Isabella from a marriage of convenience. As their newly-found bond is blossoming, they must be quick to decide on whether this is merely a fake courtship or if it could mean real love. With time running out, will Dante be able to take a leap of faith and reveal who he really is? When masks fall off, will love win just before the clock strikes midnight?
