These Jagged Edges

She’s a woman bound by fear, her life shaped by shadows she’s too afraid to confront. Every moment feels like a tightrope walk, the ground beneath her scattered with fragments of a past she can’t escape.

He’s a man hollowed by loss, drifting through a world that no longer feels real. His heart is closed off, his soul scarred by the weight of what he’s endured, leaving him a shell of who he once was.

He is the embodiment of the violence that almost destroyed her.
She is the light he can’t bring himself to touch.

When their paths collide, they’re drawn together by a force neither can explain nor resist—a connection that cuts through the walls they’ve built and tangles them in a bond as unexpected as it is undeniable. Their jagged lives, so broken and incomplete on their own, begin to take shape in each other’s presence.

This is a story of redemption and second chances—a journey of healing, love, and the discovery that even the deepest wounds can lead to something whole.

This is Evie and Maddox.
