Alice in Evermoor

Torn between a perfect virtual world and the messy reality of real life, a teenage girl must navigate love, friendship, and her deepest fears, to discover what it truly means to live.

In Evermoor, Alice Monroe's life is a paradox. Sheltered from a dystopian nightmare beyond the walls of a protective dome, she feels suffocated by the very safety that surrounds her. While her friends become increasingly consumed by the addictive virtual reality of EVR, Alice longs for genuine connection and adventure.

Feeling increasingly isolated and burdened by her family's legacy as gatekeepers, Alice's sheltered existence shatters when her father collapses while working outside the dome. Aided by Kegan and Torrey, brothers from the lost world beyond, the teenager is challenged to confront everything she thought she knew about life out in the wilds. As she grows closer to one of the brothers, she finds herself torn between the thrill of new experiences and the haunting familiarity of her sheltered life within the dome.

Grappling with her own growing addiction to EVR and the complexities of these new relationships, Alice faces a hard remain in the comfort of her virtual fantasies or embrace the unpredictable, often painful reality of life.

Will she summon the courage to break free from the virtual chains that bind and discover the love and life waiting for her, or will she choose to stay lost in a realm of her own making?
