The Toothfairy

Just one tooth. That’s all I need. A single, innocent little tooth—then their soul belongs to me.

Collecting teeth from children used to satisfy me. It was enough. But times have changed, and so have my needs. The pain—oh, the pain—makes the harvest so much sweeter.

Dentist offices are the perfect hunting grounds. Patients walk in trusting me, unaware of what lurks beneath my kind smile and sterile gloves. They leave, blissfully unaware of the agony they endured—their Minds wiped clean—silent, obedient, waiting for my call. Business is booming.

Then comes Tyler Blackbird. A boy wearing a necklace of ancient power, tied to the old ways. The moment I reach for him, it burns me. He sees me—sees what I truly am.

I won’t let one child ruin me. I’ve worked too hard, built too much. If Tyler stands in my way, I’ll have to deal with him… before he forces me to disappear again.
