Lucky Penny (Hometown #2)

Lucky Penny is book two in The Hometown series, however it can be read as a stand alone novel.

Ten years ago, they were inseparable—until she left for college and he went to prison.

Now there’s only one thing that can get Penny Hanson to return to her hometown of her little sister. So when her sister finds herself in an unexpected crisis, Penny does what she does best—drops everything to fix other people’s messes.

But nothing ever goes according to plan.

Like discovering her sister’s new roommate is Jesse Rivers… her tattooed, painfully gorgeous ex she’s spent ten years trying to forget. The one who broke her heart. And the one who still knows how to undo her with a single smirk.

With only a wall between them, years of unspoken words, and a secret neither of them dare to bring up, Penny soon realizes that this holiday season is about to get dangerously complicated. Because no matter how tempting Jesse looks, she refuses to make the same mistake twice.

Lucky Penny is a story of unfinished love, unhealed wounds, and the kind of second chance that refuses to stay buried. Raw, emotional, and full of angst, this book is for anyone who’s ever wondered what if.
