The Shape of the Beast: The Eerie Exhibits Collection

Thelma is sick of everyone else getting the things she’s always wanted in life. She doesn’t mind her cleaning job at the old museum, but she resents the younger staff who pull rank and make her feel like nothing.

Rachel is even worse. The most popular girl from school now leads a golden life with a golden husband and future, and Thelma resents Rachel’s charity in the form of a house cleaning job.

But Thelma has a secret. And that terrible thing she did in the past to even the score seems to awaken the beast in the form of a taxidermy exhibit in the museum. Its desires align with the very thing Thelma wants above all else. Together, they will reshape Thelma’s future…

The Shape of the Beast is the fourth short story in the Eerie Exhibits collection, written by award-winning author Victoria Williamson, and available to purchase as an anthology.
