Star on a Summer Morning (Darby's Quest Book 2)

Darby’s elusive search in the late 1800’s for Cayo Bradley is beset with unexpected events which delay her departure.

When the pursuit begins, it’s fraught with intrigue, danger, and exhilaration. The most menacing threats are Mescalero bandits and negotiating difficult landscapes throughout the journey. Darby, along with her bounty hunter and tracker Silverthorne, cross Colorado, New Mexico, and into the wilds of Mexico. Compounding Darby’s hunt is Silverthorne. His charming, sensual, and charismatic attraction towards her causes Darby to be fearful and on edge. He’s a Ute Indian of mixed blood and a British-educated solicitor. He is a force of nature, completely familiar with the territory they are traveling.

Will Darby discover the reason for Cayo Bradley’s flight and finally be able to settle down with him? Or, will her hunt end in the Mexican wilderness, susceptible to Silverthorne’s advances?
