Knot to Be (Forbiddenverse)

I’m a mafia princess without any real freedom, and under constant pressure from my father. I find moments of happiness where I can grab it, and hope I get away with it.

I’m in love with my stepsister, and I’m fairly certain Papa is attempting to look the other way. Until one day, I become an example of what happens when my father is no longer willing to protect me, and throws me to wolves that are his men.

Now, I’m being married off to the Domino family, and Nico thinks I’m nothing but a spoiled princess. Hope doesn’t spring eternal when you have nothing left to live for, despite the promise I gave to Verona.

Sometimes, love doesn’t conquer all, and you’re simply a dead woman walking.
