The Chalet Next Door

Blizzard Outside. Banter Inside. Sparks Inevitable.
Bubbly book publisher Presley Astor has been told all her life she’s “too much.” But she’s perfectly happy being herself- and taking her pampered Shih Tzu, Priscilla, on a solo ski trip to Sage Mountain, Wyoming. What she’s not prepared for is a blizzard knocking out her power and forcing her to seek refuge in the chalet next door…with a brooding cowboy who clearly doesn’t know what to do with someone like her.
Ford Prescott is a guarded skijoring champion-a rodeo sport where a horse pulls a skier at breakneck speeds-preparing for the biggest race of his life. But he’s also fighting cheating competitors and a faith that’s quietly slipping through his fingers. As snow piles high and the town shuts down, Presley’s joy (and Priscilla’s undeniable charm) begins melting Ford’s walls. But when old insecurities and misunderstandings hit harder than the storm, they’ll have to decide if God’s plan for them is bigger than just surviving the blizzard.
