For the last two years, my only focus has been getting Green Mountain High off the ground. It’s more than a dispensary; my best friends and I wanted to create an experience, and we have. I’m in charge of the dispensary side of things and I love my job.

Greylin thinks I’m out to get her, but I only use my badge to pull her over. It’s the only time I can be near her without anyone thinking twice about it. For those few minutes, I can imagine she’s mine.

When my father’s rants start to feel like more than just words, I have to wonder how far he’ll go because of his hatred. Risking my family for Greylin doesn’t feel like a sacrifice anymore, it feels right. I could simply tell her about my father’s plans, or I could make a deal of my own. She agreed to one date, but I’m never letting her go.
