Kael of the Mountains (The Kael Brightsun Chronicles, #1)

A young warrior. A forbidden love. A price written in blood.

In the brutal mountains of Firthreyk, strength is law—and only the strong are allowed to keep what they claim.

Kael ard Arthen has spent his life preparing for one thing: to prove himself worthy among his clan… and to claim Thyra as his own.

But Thyra is not free. She belongs to another man—an enemy of his blood.

When she is taken beyond his reach, Kael’s defiance sets in motion a chain of events that will cost him everything. Cast out from his clan and marked for death, he is forced into exile with nothing left but his blade and his will.

To reclaim her, he will have to become more than a warrior.

He will have to become something far more dangerous.

From frozen mountains to war-torn lands, Kael is drawn into a brutal world of raiders, blood feuds, and conquest—where survival is not enough, and a man’s worth is measured by what he can take… and what he can hold.

Kael of the Mountains begins The Kael Brightsun Chronicles—where exile is only the beginning, and power is taken in blood.

A sword-and-sorcery saga of exile, war, and rising power.
