The Bearer of the Sheild (Pendragon Rising, #2)

The second installment of the Pendragon Rising Saga!

The heir has been found. The kingdom is already turning against him.

With Arthur dead and Mordred ruling through fear, Arion Pendragon is forced into the open; hailed as hope by some, hunted as a threat by many. Burdened by prophecy and untested power, Arion must decide whether he will run from his legacy… or claim it.

When word reaches them that Merlin is alive, imprisoned deep within the cursed caverns of Tigguo Cobauc, Arion and his companions risk everything to free him. But wielding Prydwen, Arthur’s legendary shield, comes at a terrible cost; and the deeper they descend, the more the darkness fights back.

As ancient magic stirs and unseen forces tighten their grip, loyalties are strained, secrets surface, and Mordred’s cruelty begins to reveal the true nature of his reign.

The path to the throne is no longer a matter of destiny.

It is a matter of survival.
