The Last Mission of the Seventh Cavalry (The Last Mission of the 7th Cavalry Book 1)

History recorded Hannibal’s failure.
But ancient history never met the Seventh Cavalry.

When a catastrophic mission failure tears thirteen soldiers of the U.S. Army’s 7th Cavalry out of the modern world, they land in 216 BCE—in the heart of Hannibal Barca’s war against Rome.

Their aircraft is gone.
Their communications are dead.
Their extraction point lies two thousand years in the future.

Stranded in a brutal ancient world of bronze blades, war elephants, and massed legions, the soldiers face an impossible choice: hide and hope to survive or fight beside one of history’s greatest commanders.

They cross the frozen Alps.
They stand in four of Rome’s most devastating battles.
They introduce tactics the ancient world has never seen.

But ammunition runs out.
Wounds don’t heal so well in the past.
And not all of them will see home again.

As Rome prepares its defenses and Hannibal prepares his siege, the Seventh Cavalry realizes a terrible truth:

History is not fixed.
And survival may cost more than going home.

The Last Mission of the Seventh Cavalry is a character-driven military survival epic blending hard combat realism with immersive historical detail and high-stakes alternate history.
