The Unapproved Charms of Mosshollow (The Enchanted Post Chronicles, #2)

Spring has come to Mosshollow. So has a clipboard.

Phoenix Firebolt finally has a life she didn't know she was allowed to want — a treehouse post office, a village that hums with old magic, and a puffin who tolerates her. Then a magical standards inspector arrives with forms, regulations, and the sincere belief that he's helping.

He is not helping.

Mosshollow's enchantments don't meet code. The self-sorting mail is unauthorized. The mailboxes are "exhibiting unsanctioned philosophical activity." And if the village can't pass inspection, its charms will be stripped — every last one.

Phoenix spent forty years not making waves. Now she has to make the biggest wave of her life — and she can't do it alone.

The Unapproved Charms of Mosshollow is a warm, funny cozy fantasy about standing up for the place that stood up for you, the friends who show up with scones and battle plans, and learning that the most powerful magic is the kind no form can measure.
