Anatomy of a House

A story about love, loss, and human connection.

Two lives become intertwined as Matthew and Charlie look for answers to a past one can't remember and the other can't face.

Matthew meets an unusual young woman at the Art Institute of Chicago with the unique skill of interpreting a person's last meal by reading their face. After telling Matthew his heart is missing, they embark on a mission to find it. Retracing his past in Japan with the help of some eccentric monks, they find Matthew's lost love, revealing the trauma he's been avoiding. He finally finds his heart where he least expected, when his past mistakes catch up with him and threaten to keep him from the people he loves.

Charlie - a name he's given himself - wakes up in a strange house with no memory. As he explores his new surroundings, looking for answers and a way out, he finds a library filled with books chronicling a single story: a story about a man called Matthew. As Charlie dives deeper into the house and Matthew's story, his own past begins to reveal itself, including an unexpected connection to this man he's never met.

But the more Charlie uncovers, the more unstable the house becomes, threatening the library and forcing Charlie to decide both his and Matthew's fate.
