Dangerous Enforcer (OSI Dark Ops, #6)

Some loves never die—they just go dark.

Third-grade teacher Lucia Santos has spent ten years regretting her one drunken mistake. That mistake cost her the only man she’s ever truly loved. Eddie Calabretta vanished into the shadows of covert ops, and she’s been trying to forget him ever since. Now he's back in their small Texas town as an elite OSI Dark Ops operative, and she must face her past head on.

The past always collects its debts.

When the Muñoz cartel targets Eddie's family for revenge, every person he loves becomes a pawn in a deadly game. Including the woman who betrayed him—the woman he’s never stopped loving—and her young daughter. But Lucia refuses his offer of protection—she won't let fear rule her life or frighten her child.

Evil doesn't knock before it takes what it wants.

Girls are disappearing from their hometown. The cartel is closing in. And the danger stalking Eddie has discovered his greatest weakness. Now, Eddie must eliminate a vicious enemy before Lucia pays the price for loving him.

In this lethal game of vengeance, she's not just his past—she's the only future worth fighting for.
