Merl Lynn (Merlin of Avalon, #1)

Merl The Last Dragon Lord

*One man’s bad day is about to become Britain’s greatest legend.*

Merl Lynn was a Space Force vet with a failing career and a beat-up *2010 Honda Civic*. He wasn't looking for adventure; he was just trying to outrun a California mudslide. But when a glitch in reality drops him into the mist-shrouded wilds of *202 CE Caledonia*, Merl finds himself in a world where "programming" is a dead skill and "survival" is the only task on his screen.

Stranded north of Hadrian’s Wall with a trunk full of basic gear and a locally hosted AI, Merl is a man out of time. To the local tribes, he isn't a nerd—he’s a sorcerer.

*To survive the winter, he’ll have to build a future in the deep past.*

Faced with brutal Pictish raiders and the iron-fisted reach of the Roman Empire, Merl must use every ounce of his engineering wit to stay alive. From converting a car alternator into a hydroelectric power station to "mining" a fortress out of a limestone cliff with a scissor jack, Merl isn't just surviving—he's leveling up.

But as the *System Integration* notifications start flashing in his vision and the "Wizard" class beckons, Merl realizes he isn't just a traveler anymore. He’s the architect of a myth.

*The legend says Merlin was a wizard. The truth is, he was just a stranded engineer with a desire to go home.*
