The Pumpkin Spice Proposal Pact (Nebraska Knights)

Pro Don’t make a proposal pact with the pudgy cheesecake-loving guy from your high school coffee shop job—especially when, years later, he transforms into a beefcake NHL star who’s ready to collect.

The Noah and I spent high school teasing each other over pumpkin spice versus chocolate, never imagining our silly proposal pact would matter. Now he’s the Nebraska Knights’ star player, and I’m an aspring screenwriter working on a romcom project.

The When our old pact resurfaces at my twin sister’s wedding, we’re challenged to put it to the test—each of us trying to prove that being single is best—while battling commitment issues that run deeper than we’re willing to admit.

The I’m supposed to be writing about relationships, not doing my best to resist falling for the one guy who knew me before. And with autumn painting this small town in shades of possibility, I’m starting to wonder what happens after the pact.

Will pumpkin spice finally win over chocolate cheesecake, are we both too stubborn to figure it out, or will we find our own flavor of happily ever after?
