Murder and a Wedding (Tall Pines Cozy Mystery, #8)

A beautiful ranch wedding, a ruthless banker, and a murder that threatens to destroy Ashley’s ‘big’ day…
Ashley Travis is days away from marrying the love of her life, Tall Pines sheriff Carlos Ramirez, and the whole town is preparing for their wedding at their family ranch. But when a notorious local banker turns up dead during the rehearsal, Ashley’s dream wedding quickly turns into a homicide investigation. Talk about cold feet.
With guests being held at the ranch, Ashley, her two best friends, Rosemary and Gabby, and her beloved collie, Ace, find themselves chasing clues instead of final wedding details.
The victim made enemies everywhere he went. Between a local caterer furious over money problems, a stepfather desperate to protect his young daughter, a struggling mother facing foreclosure and townspeople pushed to the brink by his ruthless business dealings, nearly everyone had reason to want him gone, for better or for worse.
But with the wedding only days away and another tragedy looming, Ashley must uncover the truth before the killer turns her happily-ever-after into a deadly disaster.
