Shifted Desire

A steamy masked encounter leads to forbidden desires in this high-heat paranormal romance.

Samantha Pierce has always been the mess of her family, but when she loses her job and has to move back home in her late 30s, she’s hit a new low. What’s a commitment-phobic half-succubus to do when she’s feeling down? Have an anonymous hookup with a stranger, of course!

Except it turns out the masked man she spent her night with is none other than her dad’s best friend, Nathan—the handsome older werewolf she had a youthful crush on.

After forty years of suppressing his transformations and corporate drudgery, Nathan is desperate for a fresh start. But accidentally hooking up with his best friend’s daughter is not the kind of change he’s looking for. Neither is hiring her as his assistant, but he can’t say no to his friend’s request to give Samantha an interview.

Nathan’s resolve to turn her away and forget about their unfortunate encounter crumbles when Samantha makes an unconventional proposal: Hire her to help not only as his assistant, but to sate the intense mating urges that come from ignoring his curse.

Everything about their secret arrangement is forbidden. Bound to end in disaster. But as they explore their taboo connection, ruined friendships aren’t the only stakes. When lines of their contract blur, will indulging in their desires be worth risking their hearts?

Forbidden age gap romance meets steamy monster love in Shifted Desire, which features a late-30s part-succubus FMC allergic to relationships, and a werewolf MMC twenty-five years her senior who has given up on finding love.

Shifted Desire is Book 3 of the bestselling paranormal romance series, Monsters of Moonvale, but can be read as a standalone.
