A Match for Riley: A Clean, Slow-Burn, Small Town Romance where a Matchmaker meets her Match. (Maple Valley Matchmakers Book 1)

He was just a client… until he wasn't.

Tucked in a grassy valley of northern Vermont lies Maple Ridge, a town where Aunt Mabel’s gift for matchmaking became a legacy.

Riley Moreau never planned on becoming a matchmaker until she inherited her aunt’s beloved business. She stepped into a tradition the whole town believed in, while her heart was still recovering from the last decision that left it broken. She poured herself into helping others find their true love and convinced herself she was better at guiding matches than risking one of her own. Until the day her younger sister secretly submitted her profile into Mabel’s matchmaking program.

Fire Chief Michael Rady built a steady life in Maple Ridge after a broken engagement taught him to guard his heart. He focused on work and on serving the town, convinced that keeping romance at a distance was the safest choice. When the Matchmakers system pairs him with Riley, he agrees to one simple meet‑cute. A hello turns into a long conversation, and for the first time in years, a spark is ignited that Michael isn’t sure he wants to put out.

A Match for Riley is a hopeful slow‑burn romance about trust, healing, and the moment when two people discover that the right match always finds its way.
