Missing the Mark (COYOTE CRIMES COZY MYSTERIES Book 1)

A Fresh Start. A Mountain Mystery. A Killer Hiding in Plain Sight.
When Eve Morgan and her husband, Aidan, trade the familiarity of Granite for the rugged beauty of Coyote, Wyoming, they're ready to embrace a fresh adventure. Aidan's exciting new position at the historic Mountain Cat Lodge gives Eve the chance to finally pursue her dream of becoming a professional dog trainer while continuing to work with her beloved search and rescue dogs, Willow and Atlas.

But settling into a small town isn't quite as peaceful as Eve imagined.

A casual hike through Wyoming's breathtaking wilderness leads to an unexpected friendship—and a desperate plea for help when a member of a hiking group vanishes without a trace. With two highly trained search and rescue dogs by her side, Eve quickly locates the missing hiker.

Unfortunately, she finds a body instead.

Now the police are calling it murder, every member of the hiking party has something to hide, and the picturesque trails surrounding Coyote have become the backdrop for deadly secrets. As Eve follows the clues with Willow and Atlas leading the way, she'll discover that in a town built on trust, someone is willing to kill to keep the truth buried.
