The Lighthouse Cottage (Treacle Island, #1)

In just one day, Kiffy’s life comes crashing down, and it doesn’t even surprise her. For so long she has been running on a loop, trying hard to be visible, and letting others take advantage of her while slowly losing her sparkle. She feels empty and useless and regrets how much of her life she has wasted, but something from her past unexpectedly prompts her to make a change.

It’s not just a break she needs from her misery; it’s a new beginning.

With a rush of confidence and a desire to find her happiness once more, Kiffy moves to a picturesque island off the south coast of England. And when she meets the man behind her inspiration for choosing Treacle Island as her new home, she needs to continue to be brave and tell him how Lighthouse Cottage played a part in her decision. But what will Tom think of someone from his past turning up out of the blue? He’s not exactly a fan of the past and often wishes he could run from it.

But Kiffy’s not running from her past; she’s running to it.
