Saddle Up Princess (Bootstraps and Billionaires #2)

The cowboy gave me three weeks before I'd run home. Naturally, I unpacked

I was given a bet by my best friend.

My competitive streak does exactly what she knew it would do.

Twelve months. One failing Texas cattle ranch. Ten million dollars on the line.

I've built a billion dollar company from nothing. How hard can one ranch be?

Very hard. The answer is very hard.

Enter Sawyer Landry. Dark haired, broad shouldered, infuriatingly handsome in a Stetson.

He is completely unbothered by my money, my resume, or anything else I've ever used to get what I want.

He takes one look at my bedazzled boots like they personally offended him. He gives me three weeks.

I’m determined to prove him wrong.

His nephew Levi takes to me by day three with the quiet certainty of a seven year old who has already decided I'm staying.

Sawyer’s muscular build and tall dark features is the one thing I wasn’t prepared for.

Then comes one night neither of us planned for. One moment when the banter stops, the walls come down, and we both stop pretending we don't feel exactly what we feel.

I came to Broken Spur Ranch to win a bet.

But somewhere between the cattle, the chaos and a cowboy who never once backed down from me I stopped being sure that winning was the point.
