She Played a Serial Killer on TV. Now Every Kook in Town Thinks She's the Real Thing ...
Aspiring actress Doreen Diller has one big problem: everyone thinks she’s a serial killer—including her own geriatric mafia family. Mama mia!

While filming a low-budget murder mystery on St. Pete Beach, a fellow actor ends up dead for real—and Doreen is cast as his killer! Suddenly she’s got a grumpy cop trying to pin the crime on her, and a cute cop trying to pin her down for a date. Honestly, there might not be enough sunscreen in the world to keep her from getting burned for this.

Scrambling to clear her name before she's thrown in the slammer, Doreen has to sidestep the law, upstage a shark, hide out in a car trunk, survive a snickerdoodle hangover, and outwit a team of seasoned mafia molls. And that’s just day one.
So much for that Florida vacation ...
