Hot Air, Hot Water (The Supernatural Consultant Files #3)

Bex Moore has spent five years telling the planning office that her client's moat is a decorative water feature and getting rejected over and over. Then she arrives for a site visit and finds nine feet of it, dug over the weekend, by hand, by a dragon.

He won't say why. He'll only say it's load bearing.

Then the water comes up warm, and the copper seam under Copperhaven wakes up. The fountain nymph is running a hot tub with a waiting list. The bookshop reshelves itself overnight, better. Her poltergeist can be touched for the first time in forty years and has spent the morning finding out what a chair weighs. The koi next door has started jumping fences.

No one human has noticed a thing, except the fog, which they find lovely. But that can't last forever.

Bex has two weeks to settle a seam, save a hoard, and get the hole approved by a man who has rejected it five times. She can't hide it, and the dragon won't fill it in, so she'll have to file it.
