Fellow Traveller: The Pictures of Fear Collection

Writer and amateur art critic Charles is happy to spend his days alone in his apartment, writing historical novels and ignoring the world.

But when he comes across a painting that brings back memories of childhood visits to Ireland, he buys it on a whim for his study.

Soon, he finds himself spending more and more time examining it instead of getting on with his work.

What is it that he finds so compelling about the painting? And what is that strange smudge at the top of the painting’s winding road – the one that looks just like a figure coming towards him..?

Fellow Traveller is the first sinister short story in the Pictures of Fear collection, written by award-winning author Victoria Williamson and available to purchase as an anthology.
