Tiger Betrayal (Ambush, #3)

Stellan Ledger wasn’t supposed to survive the Turn. In a lot of ways, his humanity didn’t survive the day he was Turned into a Cat. His inner tiger is monstrous, and although he has improved his control over the animal over the last couple of years as he had been accepted into the Ledger Ambush, it’s still hard to be around people. Especially humans. When he steps in to help a struggling cashier at his local grocery store, his intention was to get in a fight with her attacker. She’s beautiful, and open, and vulnerable in ways that are calling to his inner monster though, and now he’s got a real problem on his hands. He needs to make sure she sets everything right in her life, and he can’t stop himself, no matter how much he tries to stay away from her. And the more time he spends with Laramie, the closer she gets to his deepest, darkest secrets.

Laramie Tucker is a woman on a mission. She has moved to this town to reconnect with her past, but a chance meeting with a tall, golden-eyed monster of a man puts her life on a completely different path. She is a rule-minder, an introvert, a deep thinker, while Stellan is tough, and moody, and struggles to communicate in any way she can understand. But as time goes on, and she begins to understand him, and really see under the tough exterior, she begins to think she may have stumbled onto someone that will change her life forever. Only if she can survive the animal inside of him though.

Don’t miss this final installment in T. S. Joyce’s exciting Ambush series. Three brothers, three very different stories, one ending that will shape the destiny of a family of Cats forever.
