Mercy in Ruin

The world is not theirs. It is yours.

Xylas was raised as an inquisitor—to follow the Goddess, protect the innocent, and destroy whatever threatens them.
But when an unexpected attack leads him to save a village girl named Taya, everything begins to change. Her home is gone. Her family is lost.
Together, they make a promise: to prove that there can be mercy in ruin.
Across the Kingdom of Grael, godlike beings known as Souls begin to appear.
Those who defeat them receive blessings from the Goddess.
But every victory leaves the world a little different.

Silence disappears.
Memory changes.
Reality begins to bend.

As Xylas and Taya become known as Soul Slayers, the dangers they face grow beyond anything either of them imagined.
Then an unnatural storm begins consuming everything in its path.
Villages vanish.
Forests are destroyed.
And somewhere at its heart waits a woman of impossible beauty.
Тhe same woman who has been haunting Xylas’s dreams.
To survive what is coming, Xylas will need every blessing the Goddess can give him.

But every blessing has a price.
And some sacrifices leave nothing behind.
