The Apostles of Eldon (World of Samar #9)

Farad, past Stravad Leader, cannot fathom why he's outlived everyone he ever loved, until the dead Lord of the Nazarien, Talar Eldralin, summons him through the shard of the Karhartadon emerald. Talar urges him to embark on a journey that will take him across Samar to the strange land of the Delphi, where he will rescue Talar's great grandson - a boy with no name and no knowledge of his auspicious lineage. Farad's one saving grace - Talar promises him a champion. Problem is this champion is a gambling, boozing, whoring mess. Kael Razmus is no one's hero. He likes his life simple and he has no intention of becoming anyone's champion - until he meets a boy with wide blue eyes that looks suspiciously like his long-dead hero, a man Kael has vowed to follow in all his most hedonistic ways. The resulting journey will test all three of them as they find there is no one they can rely on, except each other. Especially in a world gone mad. Continue the adventure in the ninth installment in the World of Samar series.
