The Ransom Exchange (Moffet & Molly Series Book 1)

THE RANSOM EXCHANGE. Book one in the Moffet & Molly series.
With his unlikely partner, the resourceful and sixty something, Aunty Molly, the improbable English duo swop Downtown for Uptown LA to probe the disappearance of a young heiress from Belair.
Despite a crisis of confidence the intrepid investigators return the girl unharmed and are all set to collect their bounty from her grateful mother… when the unthinkable happens! She is kidnapped again.
So ensues a battle of wits against a large gang of kidnappers and an unhelpful police force. This seems the least of their troubles, as Moffet and Molly soon find themselves up against a shadowy crime cartel, known only as the Organization, who have their sights set on the multi-million-dollar ransom.
Friends found in the unlikeliest of places can be as loyal as family and sometimes wannabe criminals are not as ingenious as they might think – unwary snatchers get themselves snatched!
Never has Molly’s calmness under pressure been more essential, as the dauntless detectives endeavor to locate their prize client and stay alive in the process.
Bursting with humor this entertaining fast-paced read will take you to the edge of your seat – full of hideouts, hostages, twists and turns and…. A Hillman Imp!
