Melissa Jordan is my pen name.

No One To Save Me is a deeply personal memoir based on my experiences growing up in a difficult and unsafe environment.

I originally wrote this book for myself, as a way to process and begin healing. Since sharing it, I’ve come to realise it has resonated with others who have experienced similar struggles.

Many readers have shared that the book helped them feel less alone, and reminded them that there can be light even in the darkest times. It has also offered insight to those supporting survivors, helping them better understand the lasting impact of trauma and the importance of empathy.

Healing is not a destination, but an ongoing journey — one I continue to navigate.

I am currently writing my second book, Emerging, which reflects this next stage of that journey.
