Overboard Opportunities

People often become passionate about an activity, occupation, hobby, belief, interest, endeavor, or a conviction. What are the consequences, though, when that passion is taken to an extreme and becomes an obsession, or in other words, the person goes overboard?

During a lifetime, a person generally has multiple opportunities. How a person acts on those opportunities often sets their future. Do opportunities that are passed by appear later in life? Should all opportunities be acted on?

Can going overboard lead to opportunities? Can opportunities lead to going overboard?

They soon find that going overboard comes with sacrifices and consequences. They also have numerous opportunities that they must decide how to pursue. But which opportunities turn out to be not what they expected?
