Talon (The Brinnswick Chronicles, #5)

Who would’ve thought I, of all people, would be consorting with the enemy?

Every fae dreams of finding that one person to complete their soul, but I’ve waited for so long with no sign of my viramore—my soulmate—that I thought I wouldn’t be so lucky.

But then I find him.

And what a surprise he is. Never in a million years did I think my viramore would be on the other side of things. That he’d come from a place where only evil permeates. That he’d be a monster. That he’d be my enemy. Life’s full of surprises, right?

I don’t know what to do or how to fix the chasm between us. I don’t want to give up on him, but maybe this once, Fate is wrong. Maybe we aren’t perfect for each other. Maybe we aren’t two halves of a whole. But maybe, just maybe, being hunted by a common enemy will bring us together… or maybe he’ll be the death of me.
